Pursuant to the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission Act of 2007, As of January 6, 2009, Integrated Security Services signed an agreement with DHL Global Forwarding to provide TSA Certified Cargo Screeners at ten nationally based cargo hubs. Approved by President Bush, the legislation mandates 100 percent screening by August 2010.
Under the direction of John Wilde, former NYCPD Intelligence Division Sergeant, Supervisor Detective Squad, Integrated Security will maintain close communication with DHL Global Forwarding Vice President Security Americas regarding any issues that reveal a weakness or vulnerability in areas of security screening.
Additionally, a path has been cleared for Integrated to process all candidates for screening through the TSA’s Security Threat Assessment pre-clearance database and to participate in information briefings concerning sensitive classified data.
